ALL students attending a program with the Aarhus School of Architecture must pass a selection committee evaluation of their application. Admission is competitive, and we require the following:
- A completed Exchange Student/Guest Student application form OR Full-degree application form (links) - Your recent transcript or diploma - A CV - A one page personal statement - Language test documentation (only for full-degree and guest students) - References if any - A recent portfolio.
Portfolio requirements IMPORTANT! Please note that the portfolio must be in either A4 or A3 size (PDF format) not exceeding 30 pages and 15 mB. It must be easily readable, and an introduction to the presented projects etc. is mandatory. The portfolio is crucial to the entire evaluation of your application, and will determine whether you are admitted or not.
Sending the portfolio The portfolio may be mailed or sent electronically. If you choose to send it via regular mail, together with your other application material, please note that the mail MUST be postmarked NO LATER than the date of the application dead-line. Should you choose to send it electronically, please note that sending very large documents may be impeded by the size. You should instead up-load the document through services like transferbigfiles.com or similar services.
The e-amil address you should send the portfolio to is:
portfolio@aarch.dk
Please note that this e-mail is intended for portfolios ONLY, questions sent to this address will not be answered.

Failure to comply with these instructions or deadlines may cause an application not reaching us in time, and thus being rejected.
