The Aarhus School of Architecture was founded in 1965, and is a university institution under the Danish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education.
The mission of the school is:
- To offer academic, profession-oriented bachelor's and master's at the highest level of architecture and doctoral courses in architectural professional fields.
- To offer profession-oriented continuing education for architect professional fields and master's level.
- To conduct research and artistic development at the highest level with the aim of continuously classifying training, professional practice and architectural interdisciplinary integration.
Aarhus School of Architecture has approx. 750 students and employs approx. 175 employees. The school has an annual budget of approx. 100 million Danish Kroner
